Andi's Journal characters

This is the line up of main characters for a TV series pitch we put together for a show called "Andi's Journal". We ended up getting a publishing deal for it and making it into a Christian girl's chapter book series through Zondervan publishing. We did two books and my wife, Jen, wrote both. We were happy with how they came out but the publisher didn't have us continue with the series beyond those two books. Andi is a girl (short for Andrea, she's he one with the big nose and dark hair in the middle) whose mom died a couple years ago and she's still coping with that. Her dad decides they need a fresh start and moves them to a water ski resort town in the mountains where she hates it at first, but discovers a new life amoungst the strange people that live there.

I drew/designed the characters above, but my biz parnter Rob and I co-illustrated the books.
