I made up a quick Ellie the Angel model sheet for my reference but thought you guys might want to see it.
I see some stuff that I would refine more as I tighten it up, but close enough for me to keep her a bit more consistent.
It's always a good learning process for me to do turns on a character. You really get to know them from a technical aspect, which is not my strong point. I just want to make them "act"!
I still need to do a little bird wing reference to make sure my wings, while simplified, are based on the proper anatomy. I animated a few birds while at Disney, so I think it's close. Remember the little birds that jumped into Beasts hand when he was feeding them? Remember the birds that got released by Jasmine when she flung open the cage? All me baby! Some of my first Disney animation right there! Oh yeah, then there was some Iago scenes too, but the real good ones were by my brother, Tony. )
