Lion King Week, Day 2: Simba

LION KING WEEK, day #2 continues! This is in honor of Lion King 3D being released on Friday here in the U.S. These are three key drawings from a scene I animated (over 20 years ago now!) of Simba when he's trying to get Nala to come with him to see the Elephant Graveyard. "I'll show you when we GET there!" (I was still learning how to draw him and made his head and ears too small, they fixed that in clean up. Thank you wonderful clean up artists!)

I added a small inset frame from the film so you can see what was changed- actually, not that much. I think we just made his body a bit smaller rather than change the head. Its been a looong time.
