This is a run cycle I animated and cleaned up years ago. Its recently gotten colored and put together as a gif file. I'm hoping you can see it here animated. If not, hopefully you see a still image at least. This will be part of the flip book in the corner of my Kickstarter graphic novel, "Opposite Forces". Check it out and back it here: [link]
Very convincing in terms of acting and the run itself. Have you ever considered doing short independent animation like your former colleague Andreas Deja currently does? That would certainly be something I'd like to see, though I can imagine that you might have little time for projects like that...
YEah, that would be great but time is the problem. Andreas is pretty much retired, so I'm assuming he has a bit more time. Good for him, though, for keeping the passion alive!
Very cool! Question, if you have time to answer: Is this a little choppy-ish because it needs to be on ones and isn't, or because of the nature of Gif files?
Yeah, its because its only a few key frames, with no inbetweens. I had originally made it to run on my website and thought I should make it very simple (few drawings as possible) so it would run smoother. That may or may not have been necessary. Who knows?
