My Day Job

This is one element of my day job as the Lead Character designer on the "Superbook" TV series for CBN. (Its a Christian show that is/will be shown internationally). I don't usually show much from my "day job" mostly because I can't. This is an incidental character from one episode, so I don't think anyone will get to upset that she's on the web. I design the characters (drawing to the left is mine), then they are sent to China to the animation studio where they are modeled. This is the "texture" pass where I can give notes on the color and texture of the clothing, etc. They become more realistic when they become CG models, but part of that is okay with us since the stories are more "real" in nature.
