This is another in my series of "what's on my studio walls". Artwork by other people I know or have worked with, mostly. Sorry, all are terrible phone photos, but its what I had time for.
This one is a PRODUCUCTION drawing of Young Simba from Lion King by Mark Henn. He is a good friend and my mentor at Disney for many, many years. This is from the "Can't wait to be King" section where he momentarily wears a leaf mane to look older (the efx department did the leaf main, Mark just roughed in a shape.) I was lucky enough (like the Pumbaa piece I posted yesterday) to find a tiny laser print of the exact same frame from the film (thanks background department!!) and framed the two pieces together. Mark signed it too. I'm a nerd.
