Another from the series of "what's on my office walls" drawings/art by other artists. Poor photo, I know, sorry.

This one is a Timon Drawing from Lion King by Michael Surrey, the supervising animator. Mike and I got to be friends during the making of Lion King because he was best buds with my brother, Tony, who was supervising the character Pumbaa. They worked together a lot because those two characters were together in most scenes. I ended up animating Young Simba in the part of the movie where Pumbaa and Timon wake him up in the desert after rescuing him from the vultures. The three of us animated that small section that leads into the Hakuna Matata song. They had more to do with it then me as Simba didn't have much to say in that section. Anyway, all good memories.

I believe it was the supervising animator, Randy Haycock. Very nice guy and super talented.
