This is an animation drawing (I think the frame from the scene) of Rutt and Tuke from Brother Bear, by me. We are talking about "Animation Fundametals" tonight in my live workshop #3, so I thought I'd post this in celebration.

I didn't do a ton of scenes on Bro. Bear but they were all of Rutt and Tuke (or just one or the other, if I was lucky). This was my FIRST scene on the film and a tough one because they were together on one drawing (I still don't know why I did that) and sliding down a mastadon's trunk. Their antlers were crazy tough to do and way to complicated to explain how we did it.

Sad part it is....I still don't know which one is which? Rutt is the smaller one?

HOW HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS UPLOAD!?!

So.....what yer saying is that the two characters weren't on separate papers?! Talk about stress!!!!! These moose were totally the show stealers in this movie. I loved it so much. Such fantastical animal animation (which I am always most impressed with).
