This is the first two pages of "inks" (really, just tight pencils, like animation cleanups) for an 8 page story that was in the back of a "THUNDERCATS: Villians Origins" (or something like that) comic for Wildstorm. This was years ago. The great Alex Sinclair was editing the book and was kind enough to let me draw it. The final version is colored, but these are the original "black and white" version we gave the colorist. I did the layouts and the characters, but had the very talented Disney layout guy, Tom Humber, create the backgrounds so it would look like a Disney film. It did in the end, but he still didn't need to go this far with his gray tones for the backgrounds. Not that I'm complaining, it turned out great. Not my kind of story (kinda racy, violent) but a fun project for sure.

I like the shot choices for a lot of these. I'm intriqued that wildstorm published this - I always thought they preferred a more realistic style. o.O Interesting. I'll have to see if I can find a copy of this!
