WWoman warm up by tombancroft WWoman warm up by tombancroft
Doesn't it sound so much cooler to call a sketch a "warm up"? Like its just the casual sketch you did before getting into the real meat of drawing all day....it's not a doodle, not a sketch, but a WARM UP to something bigger and better. In real life, I sketched this on the airplane. So, it was a warm up to watching a movie on my iPad. The truth is out there.

Hey I was just lookin through some of your older drawings and I love all the comic book stuff you got going. and from reading some of the descriptions it looks like you read. I really like the wonder woman stuff you have done but was hoping i could make a small request. haha could you do some of the DC characters as black lanterns. like the black lantern wonder woman, superman, batman. maybe black hand. it would be really cool to see these versions of the characters in your style!

Glad you like my stuff, I appreciate it. Sorry, I don't take requests, I barely have time to draw what I want/can! Hope you understand.

Hmm... Just something I've noticed with artists who draw Wonder Woman. They are basically divided into two categories: Those who think its absurd for her to fight crime in high heels and those who don't. Yet both sides agree, she'd still opt to fight evil in a bathing suit. Love your work Tom.

The idea is pretty good. All is in the eye of the beholder and I bet it would have a long-term positive psychological effect to call all sketches 'Warp up's :)

I'll keep that in mind for future references :D The simpler things are the hardest to find sometimes ;)

Fantastic "warm up" work, Mr. Bancroft! There is so much movement and life in them. Undoubtedly, your skill is to be admired. :aww:

Indeed, it's very important to warm up before watching a movie.
And it is cooler to call sketches a "warm up". :XD:
