Ah, here she is again. Wonder Woman. BUT, this time, its a younger version of her- she's WonderGirl!
I know, there is a character by that name that is not Diana Prince. (Though, I admit, I'm not an authority on WW or her history, just stating that upfront.)
This is a quickie model sheet I put together for an idea I had to create a comic series for DC of Wonderwoman as a teen. The idea being that it would primarily revolve around her "training" years on the island and all the adventures that would happen there and near there. (There really would need to be a nearby island, in danger, that had men on it, huh?) At any rate, I mentioned it to my writer friend Jim Krueger and he was excited about doing it also. It went to the top (at the time, this was about 7 years ago) at DC and though they liked it, ditched it because they were going to do a WW movie and didn't want to mess with the character. (Still no movie!) I'd still love to do it if you are a DC editor. Think about it....
This would make a great kid friendly comic, too bad it didn't get off the ground. The concept sounds similar to what they let Ben Caldwell do with those illustrated WW kids books several years back.
