Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

False alarm and BOOK UPDATE

Sorry everyone, I made a mistake in my last Journal when I said my book, Character Mentor, was out and I haven't seen it yet.  The note came from someone that said they "just got my book" but didn't reference that it was the old book (Creating Characters) because he assumed I would remember his note to me about a month ago that he was going to order that one.  ANYWAY, my fault.

BUT, it did give me a chance to give you all the book update, as far as I know:

THe book should have come out about a week ago (April 15th) but I had been told months ago by my publisher it was going to "most likely" come out a good couple weeks before that.  So, in my mind its pretty late.  These things are not uncommon in publishing from what I hear, though I'm sure Amazon doesn't like it.  They were holding it up so they could get some cartooning pros to preview it and give a quote for the back cover.  I was able to scramble and get two (the publisher asked me to ask people literally a week before the book was supposed to come out, so I knew it was running late.)  I got two out of the 6 people I asked.  Not bad.  Only one, Pete Doctor, said he couldn't do it.  Something about working day and night right now on a Pixar film that he is directing.  I let him off the hook.  The others, hopefully, will have there quotes online somewhere or in future printings.

At any rate, I have been told by the publisher that it should be "done" be done around now.  My hope is that it will start shipping in a week or so.  Let me know when you get yours, you may still beat me!

I had preordered mine but canceled due to reasons of my own. However, I just put in an order for three copies, one for me and one for two of my friends. I'm excited and really happy I get to share with them, thank you for providing the book, now I just have to wait for restocking.

Ah, that clears things up. I knew at least my order of "Character Mentor" hadn't shipped and was still listed on Amazon as a pre-order. It is rather frustrating to have it delayed, but glad you let us know that it should be "done" now and they should be going out soon. I'll let you know when my copy comes in.

Unofficially, yes. Its through another publisher (Focal Press, this time) so they aren't big on me saying its a "sequel" to someone else's book, but it is.
