I have to ask the question - how dim do you have to be to fall for it?
Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

A mage's abilities are:supernatural strength,able to cast magic spells,able to survive for a long period of time.
Her staff/rod appears when shes battling with someone.

You can draw her with her likes and dislikes,her casting spells or just her alone.
Do not draw her with your OC or my other OC's,they dont know each other.
Do not draw her as an animal and pony.

Quick question... I registered for Focal Press and actually submitted my entry for the contest... However, even though at the bottom it says that my picture will appear automatically, I'm still not seeing my entry at all... I tried doing it another time just in case it didn't the first time, but the same thing happened. I don't want to send in anymore just in case I would get disqualified for "more than one entry" or something. >.< When/How will I know if it gets through? :\ I've been looking every so often, but nothing is coming up >.< Thanks for your time ^_^

unfortunately, i called the number that the Focal Press website says to contact them with and it ended up being just the Elsevier and the lady couldn't help me... i hope it gets through >.< I've tried to submit it a good couple of times, but still nothing is coming up :\
